Professional guidance on how to start a childcare business/preschool program and/or how to maintain a quality childcare business. The consultations are designed to empower, grant knowledge, understanding, and allow us to work together to bring your vision(s) to fruition!!
(Virtual) Consultations
$300/hr
A one-on-one empowerment session (any topic of choice) granting a power hour session for you to gain insight, knowledge, and understanding based on your topic of choice.
Property Assessment
$400/hr
This service we can assess your property and tell you the best ways to utilize it for childcare purposes.
Document/Form Completion
$250/hr
Completion of Documents needed to fulfill licensing requirements.
Childcare Set-Up/Interior Design
$350/hr
This service consists of us staging your center with furniture being placed properly per licensing standards as well as a classroom set up, documentation posting, and scout shopping to locate the best materials and equipment for our center or home daycare.
Space Measurements
$400/hr
This service permits us to measure your daycare rooms, areas, and facility to give you an approximate capacity for your childcare business.
Preliminary Inspections
$450/hr
This is a service where we will conduct an inspection of your facility to ensure you are prepared and ready to be licensed by the State.
Policy Preparedness
$275/hr
This service provides the policy and procedure ideas, statements, and expectations for employees and parents.
Director's Coach
$275/hr (minimum 3 hours) or $750/day (6 hours)
This service allows me to enhance your preschool program/business by coaching your Director on site. We will observe the daily operations and/or review the daily operations and consultations will be given on how to correct, revamp, or better the tasks of the daily operations. This service includes brainstorming ideas, creating systems, classroom staging (set-up).
Photo Opp
$400/hr
(Must consent to an audio, video, picture, and social media waiver) - This service allows your company (New or Existing) a time to shine and be promoted as we take pictures of your facility, partake in an introductory video, and indulge in a 10-minute LIVE interview about your business. The information gathered will be used to promote your childcare business on social media for advertising/marketing for up to 3 consecutive days.
Monthly Mentorship Program
$225 (Homes) and $275 (Center/Lg.Family/Small Group)
This service includes weekly (1hr) virtual empowerment sessions, (1hr) quarterly Q & A sessions (every 3rd Wednesday), up to (3) phone consultations, and (1) scheduled on-site visit (this component is activated after your 4th consecutive monthly payment of the mentorship program)
All services and bundle packages are subject to a non-refundable travel/deposit fee of $200. If a bundle package is booked; you must pay the travel/deposit fee plus half of the balance. The remaining balance of the bundle package selected is due upon the initial visit.
If you live outside of Prince George’s County, MD the travel/deposit fee is $250 and you will be invoiced $50 after paying the $200 travel/deposit fee online. All services/bundle packages are subject to a 6.75% tax. Methods of payment consist of credit/debit and/or PayPal/Square and invoicing. NO CASH or CHECKS ACCEPTED!!

When you purchase a bundle package, you are investing in me as your consultant and your childcare facility/business; because I will mentor, coach, and train you on how to run a successful quality childcare business. When you book me for a bundle package, you will receive all services (technical assistance, Support with Documents, Measurements (centers and large family centers), and a Preliminary Inspection.
*If you are not prepared and ready for licensing to conduct your inspection within 2 months (60 days) of hiring Guidinglight Child Care Consulting, you will need to pay an additional $200 for the travel fee per the last visit that is for the Preliminary Inspection before the State comes to conduct their inspection.*
**If you’d like to choose a bungle package, but need to pay in installments:

– Pay half and the travel/deposit fees
– Then you will be invoiced for the remainder of the balance.
Home

Also to include all services; especially technical assistance (professional guidance) of how to best utilize your space for childcare, a detailed overview of the State COMAR Regulations, and will provide samples of the following:- 3 visits
- Property Assessment (1st visit)
- 1 virtual call (Must Schedule)
- On-going Consultation/Coaching via unlimited texts, phone calls, emails until the license is obtained
- Scout shopping
- Childcare set up (2nd visit – MUST Schedule)
- Preliminary Inspection (3rd visit-must schedule) is the final step before you schedule the State inspection for the license.
- Provided sample templates for an emergency escape plan, healthy menu planning, daily schedule, potty training tips, and policy/procedure tip sheet for parent handbook
- Photo Opp to promote your business (Must schedule after obtaining the license)
All Center/Commercial Bundle Packages
To include up to 4 visits to the home or facility along with unlimited phone calls, texts, or emails. Also to include all services; especially technical assistance (professional guidance) of how to best utilize your space for childcare and understand how to complete staffing patterns and personnel lists accurately, a detailed overview of the State COMAR Regulations, and will provide samples of the following:
Large-Family
- $2375fee
- Plus a non-refundable deposit/travel fee of $200.
Total cost for this package would be $2575.If you choose this service and if you are not sure if your home can fit 12 children; you may want to hire me to conduct the measuring and technical assistance service first to make sure we are moving forward correctly.

Monthly Memberships
Homes for $225 and $275 for Large-Family and Commercial Facilities.

Monthly memberships will have a monthly automated fee (you can unsubscribe and cancel membership at any time). These fees will allow any client/company to schedule one (1) day a month for me to come to their home/facility and observe documents and paperwork; ensuring you are on track with everything and are up to date with regulations/expectations. These documents include but are not limited to children’s records, staff records, program documents (fire drill, emergency drills, permission slips, attendance records, policies/procedures, etc).
Some of my clients have utilized my services to provide in-service training for their employees (no credits or continuing education class approvals granted). These pieces of training include topics surrounding professionalism, work ethics, regulation overview, proper documentation, and/or for appeal situations if up against a case of losing the license. The majority of these pieces of training include PowerPoint presentations.
With the membership, I will be obligated to help with business/employee situations that may arise; in which, I provide professional guidance through such times. Along with this membership, you will have unlimited access to me via skype, email, phone, or text as well.
